Registration Opening Times for WASSCE for Private Candidates, 2026 – First Series (January/February)

The West African Examinations Council wishes to inform the general public, particularly prospective candidates, of the approved opening times for registration for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates, 2026 – First Series (January/February) during the festive season.

The registration process has been carefully scheduled to ensure efficiency and orderly service delivery. Prospective candidates are therefore encouraged to take note of the details below.

Registration Schedule

Registration services will be available on the following dates:

• December 29
• December 30
• December 31

Daily Opening Time: 09:00 a.m.
Daily Closing Time: 01:00 p.m.

To ensure a smooth registration process, candidates are advised to arrive early. Kindly note that registration will close promptly at 01:00 p.m. each day, and candidates who arrive after this time will unfortunately not be able to register.
