BRIEFING FOR WASSCE FOR PRIVATE CANDIDATES, 2026-SECOND SERIES

Candidates who registered for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates, 2026 – Second Series, are hereby informed that briefing of candidates for the conduct of the above examination is slated as follows:

TIME: 10:00 a.m prompt

  2. St. Augustine’s Senior Secondary School, Main Hall
  3. Nusrat Senior Secondary School, Main Hall
  4. Sheikh Mass Kah Senior Secondary School
  5. Abuko Upper Basic School, Main Hall
  6. Kotu Senior Secondary School, Main Hall
  7. St. Peter’s Technical Senior Secondary School, Main Hall
  8. Kinderdorf Bottrop Technical Senior Secondary School, Main Hall
  9. Brusubi Senior Secondary School

Briefing session for Private Candidates at Tahir, Brikamaba, Essau, Farafenni and Nasir Senior Secondary Schools will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 at their respective examination centres. The time is 10.00 a.m prompt.

All registered candidates who chose USET (former GTTI) and Daddy Jobe Comprehensive Senior Secondary School as examination centres should report to Sheikh Mass Kah Senior Secondary School as their new examination centre. All affected candidates must maintain their centre numbers.

The written examination will commence on Monday, September 21, 2026 and end on Thursday, October 29, 2026. The Final International Timetable can be obtained from waecgambia website: waecgambia.org or WAEC Head Office in Banjul.

All registered candidates are urged to attend as important information will be shared.
